Prior Arrival: Online Course
Start your PADI Advanced Open Water course directly online on Android or iOS devices after registration.
Day 1: 3 Dives
Dive into three adventure dives in Komodo. Learn and enjoy the beauty of Komodo's stunning marine life.
Day 2: 3 Dives
Complete two adventure dives, including one up to 30 meters with Dragon Dive Komodo. Discover vibrant reefs and enjoy an extra fun dive.

Advanced Open Water Course: Learning Objectives
Choose Your Dives
Plan your learning path in Komodo with your instructor. Required dives include Deep and Underwater Navigation, plus three additional dives of your choice.
Deep Adventure Dive
Learn to manage the physiological effects and challenges of deeper diving while exploring the incredible depths of Komodo waters.
Underwater Navigation Dive
Enhance your compass navigation skills and learn to use visual landmarks, kick-cycles, time, and orientation for better underwater awareness.
Prerequisites
Duration: 2 days
Course Content: 5 adventure dives + theory
Minimum Age: 12 years old (10 years for Junior AOW)
Maximum Depth: 30 meters (21 meters for Junior AOW)
Minimum Certification: Open Water Diver or equivalent.
Already an Adventure Diver?
If you’re already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
