Training FAQ
Can I start eLearning before arrival?
Yes. All courses except Discover Scuba support PADI eLearning. Complete theory at home (4-12 hours), then go straight to pool sessions on Day 1.
Do I need my own equipment?
No. Full rental sets (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, computer, mask, fins) are included in all courses. We recommend owning a mask for fit, but it's not required.
Are Komodo currents safe for beginners?
Yes. Open Water students dive sheltered sites only (Siaba, Sebayur) with minimal current. We never take OW students to advanced sites.
What languages are courses taught in?
All courses are guaranteed in English and French. German and Spanish are often available depending on the season and our current instructor team — ask us when booking.
What if I fail a skill in the pool?
You repeat it until mastery — no time pressure. Our 4:1 ratio means personalized coaching. Most students pass all pool sessions on the first attempt.
How long is Nitrox certification valid?
Lifetime. Once you're EANx certified, it never expires. You'll analyze tanks before every Nitrox dive.
Can I do AOW elsewhere then finish Rescue here?
Yes. We accept all PADI certifications globally. Bring your logbook and certification card — we'll verify and continue your training.
