Allow 24 hours before flying. While 18 hours is recommended, we advise being extra cautious and waiting 24 hours.

Insurance

What are the best months to dive in Komodo?

Diving in Komodo is excellent year-round, but the best months depend on weather and currents. From May to October, the dry season offers incredible visibility and calm waters. From November to April, you'll discover more marine life and unique conditions.

Do I need a specific diving level to dive in Komodo?

Komodo offers dives for all levels, from beginners to experienced divers. Certain areas like Batu Bolong or Northern Komodo (Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Cauldron) require Advanced certification and experience due to strong currents, while other sites are beginner-friendly.

What marine animals can I see while diving in Komodo?

We provide all necessary equipment, including wetsuits, regulators, BCDs, and fins. You are welcome to bring your own gear if preferred.

What is the maximum depth for dives in Komodo?

Depths vary by site, ranging from 10 meters for shallow reefs to over 30 meters for wall dives. Limits are observed based on your certification.

Following the local regulation of the Komodo National Park, all scuba divers are required to own or purchase a diving insurance policy. We can manage for you as we are affiliated with DAN SHORT TERM which you can purchase directly at our reception. For all scuba divers who already have one, please bring your card with you.
