How to choose the right PADI course
Three questions, one answer. Find where you fit in ten seconds.
"I've never dived before"
Start with a Discover Scuba Diving day — pool session, then two guided ocean dives. If you love it (you will), continue straight into the Open Water course; your DSD dives can count toward it.
Discover Scuba Diving →"I'm certified — I want more"
The Advanced Open Water unlocks Komodo's best sites (30m, drift). Add Rescue + Nitrox and you're equipped for any dive trip in the world — and ready for the professional track.
Advanced Open Water →"I want to make this my job"
The Komodo Dive Campus takes you from Divemaster to PADI Instructor with a resident Course Director — in real conditions that employers respect. Monthly DMT starts, IDC intakes Sept 5 & Nov 15.
Go Pro →🌊 Beginner PADI courses
Protected bays, on-site pool, max 4 students per instructor. Komodo is beginner-friendly when it's taught right.
Discover Scuba Diving
Try scuba without a certification. Pool intro, then two guided ocean dives — the perfect first experience in Komodo's calm bays.
PADI Open Water Diver
Your diving journey starts here — the world's most recognized certification. Dive to 18 m anywhere on earth. eLearning available before arrival.
📈 Continuing education
Komodo's signature sites ask for 30 m and drift skills — these are the courses that unlock them.
PADI Advanced Open Water
Five adventure dives over two days — deep and navigation required, plus drift, the skill Komodo is famous for. Certifies you to 30 m.
PADI Rescue Diver
The course divers call "the most rewarding": prevent and manage emergencies, read stress, take charge. The gateway to every professional level.
PADI Enriched Air Nitrox
The world's most popular specialty — longer bottom times on Komodo's reefs and manta sites. Often completed alongside another course.
