The course that changes how you dive. Over four intensive days, you learn to prevent and manage emergencies — both underwater and on the surface. The EFR component covers CPR, first aid, and emergency oxygen administration. The Rescue Diver training builds on this with self-rescue techniques, recognising diver stress, managing unresponsive divers, and coordinating search and recovery scenarios. All practical exercises take place in real conditions at Komodo National Park dive sites, guided by experienced PADI instructors. This is the course most divers say made them a fundamentally better diver — and it's a prerequisite for the PADI Divemaster program.
