📍 North Komodo 🏰 Submerged Pinnacle 🦈 Shark Capital

Castle Rock Dive Site — Komodo National Park

Welcome to the "Fish Soup" of Komodo. Castle Rock is a submerged pinnacle that offers some of the most intense big-fish action in the park. Without a rock breaking the surface, the current whips around this site, attracting massive schools of predators.

⚠️ Expert Dive: Strong down-currents possible. Negative entries are standard here.

A Submerged Fortress 🏰

Unlike Crystal Rock, Castle Rock doesn't break the surface. The top of the pinnacle sits at about 5-7 meters. This topography creates a unique flow of water that attracts massive schools of fusiliers, bannerfish, and jacks—which in turn attract the sharks. It is widely considered one of the best shark dives in Indonesia.

It is rare, but occasional Great Hammerhead sightings happen in the deep water during the colder months.
