Komodo offers diving all year, but conditions vary by season. Here's a breakdown to help you plan your adventure:
Rainy season, less crowded. Great for South Komodo & Padar, with mantas often sighted. Ideal for macro and calm diving.
Transition into peak season in North & Central Komodo. Calm seas, blooming reefs, and amazing visibility.
Dry season peak. Strong currents in North Komodo offer epic drift dives. Visibility excellent; mantas more common in the south.
Warm waters, fewer crowds, and mantas return south. One of the best times to explore all Komodo regions.
