What are the prerequisites for PADI Rescue Diver?
You must be at least 12 years old and hold PADI Adventure Diver with the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, or a qualifying higher certification from another training organisation. CPR and first-aid training completed within the previous 24 months is also required for Rescue certification.
Do I need Advanced Open Water to dive in Komodo?
Not for every Komodo dive. Open Water Divers can join suitable sites when conditions and experience allow. Advanced training expands your depth and navigation experience, but certification never guarantees access to a particular site; the dive team makes the final site and group decision.
