❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pay Komodo National Park fees by credit card?
No. Currently, these fees must be paid in cash (Indonesian Rupiah) according to park regulations. ATMs are available in Labuan Bajo, but we recommend withdrawing cash the day before your trip.
Is Nitrox guaranteed on every dive?
Nitrox is free for certified divers as per our policy, but subject to availability and filling capacity. In very rare cases we may need to switch you to air for operational or safety reasons.
Are tips included in the price?
No. Tips are not included and are entirely at your discretion. However, they are highly appreciated by our local crew and guides who work hard to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
What equipment is provided for day trips?
All standard equipment is included: BCD, regulator, 3mm wetsuit, mask, fins, and dive computer. You can rent extras like a 5mm wetsuit, GoPro, or dive torch.
How far is your resort from the harbour?
Dragon Dive Komodo resort is conveniently located just 5 minutes' walk from the harbour, making early morning departures easy and stress-free.
Do I need dive insurance?
Yes, it's mandatory. Park-compliant dive insurance covering accidents, evacuation and chamber treatment is required. DAN short-term insurance is available at our reception.
