FAQ – PADI Courses in Komodo
How long does the Open Water course take?
Most guests complete the PADI Open Water course in 3 to 4 days. You can save time by starting theory online (eLearning) before arrival.
Is Komodo too difficult for beginners?
No. While Komodo has strong currents, we use dedicated protected bays and our onsite pool for training. We only take you to drift sites when you are ready.
What about the "Free Training Dorm"?
Starting in 2026, we are launching a dedicated dormitory exclusive to our Divemaster and IDC candidates to support their professional journey. Contact us for details!
