Our family is a blend of experienced and passionate scuba diving professionals dedicated to delivering an unparalleled diving experience.

Our Journey
Founded in 2015 Dragon Dive Komodo began with a vision: to establish a premier scuba diving centre in the breathtaking Komodo National Park. In 2024, new partners restructured the dive resort, infusing it with a fresh British-French perspective and a grand vision for expansion.

We focus on modern diving techniques, marine biology, and environmental conservation. Our mission is to lead in sustainable diving practices, continuously improving to preserve the marine ecosystem while providing top-notch diving experiences.

Quality is at the heart of what we do. Since opening, Dragon Dive Komodo has proudly earned TripAdvisor’s “Certificate of Excellence” every year. We are the only PADI 5* IDC certified dive resort in the area, offering the highest standards in diving education, daily dive trips, and liveaboard adventures.

 Our Fleet
We own three comfortable and eco-friendly boats, equipped with state-of-the-art compressor systems, a private chef, and the latest diving gear. In 2024, we expanded with a new liveaboard, Shenron, to explore both the North and South of Komodo National Park, and beyond to Banda and Alor.

 Enhanced Experience
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we took the opportunity to elevate our standards and facilities. Our upgraded hotel now features:
– 20 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms
– Sunset rooftop
– Restaurant and bar
– Yoga room
– Giant diving pool
– Dedicated IDC room for aspiring dive professionals

Your safety is our top priority. Despite Komodo’s strong currents, our expert team ensures safe diving conditions for all levels, maintaining a flawless safety record. Our boats are equipped with GPS sonar, radio, life rafts, and emergency oxygen kits.

 Marine Biology Program
Led by our owner and marine biologist, Kit Barnes, we actively participate in conservation efforts to protect and restore the marine biodiversity of Komodo National Park.

Community Engagement
As a proud member of the Labuan Bajo dive center community, Gahawrisi, we uphold standards of safety, fair staff treatment, and conservation within the Komodo National Park.
