Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. They apply to all bookings with Dragon Dive Komodo, including Daily Diving, Dive & Stay Packages, and Liveaboard trips.

Definitions: "The Company" refers to PMA Dragon Dive Komodo, including all affiliates, staff, guides, instructors, agents, and representatives.

1. Booking & Payment

Policies differ slightly between Daily Trips and Liveaboard cruises.

🚤 Daily Diving & Dive/Stay

  • Deposit: 50% non-refundable deposit required to confirm booking.
  • Balance Due: 60 days prior to arrival/activity.
  • Failure to settle the balance may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.

🛥️ Liveaboard (Shenron)

  • Deposit: 25% non-refundable deposit required to secure your spot.
  • Balance Due: 30 days prior to departure.
  • Failure to settle the balance on time may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.

💳 Payment Methods & Fees

We accept Cash (IDR, EUR, USD) or Debit/Credit Card (Visa & Mastercard).

  • A 3% processing fee applies to all card/transfer payments.
  • We do not accept PayPal, Amex, or JCB.

2. Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is unavoidable, please review the terms below.

Alternative Options (Subject to Availability)

Before cancelling completely, consider these options:

  • Reschedule: Move your date for a fee of IDR 1,000,000 per participant.
  • Voucher: Issue a voucher equal to the deposit value for future use.
  • Insurance Letter: We provide documents to support your travel insurance claim.
⚠️ Refund Rules:
Park fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Missed dives due to seasickness, fatigue, or personal choice are non-refundable.

Daily Diving & Packages More than 48h notice Deposit (50%) is forfeited.
Less than 48h notice 100% of total price is due (Non-refundable).
Liveaboard Trips More than 30 days Deposit (25%) is forfeited.
Less than 30 days 100% of total price is due (Non-refundable).
Company Cancellation
(Weather/Mechanical)
Anytime Full refund OR Reschedule (Client's choice).
⚠️ PADI Courses: eLearning/Theory fees are non-refundable once codes are sent, as the student retains ownership of the digital product. This cost will be deducted from the refund.

🎓 Professional PADI Courses (Divemaster & IDC)

Special conditions apply to professional-level training programs due to strict quotas and scheduling requirements.

Professional courses require months of preparation, strict instructor-to-student ratios, and fixed PADI schedules. Think carefully before booking. Once confirmed, no changes, discounts, or refunds are possible.

🚫 Zero Flexibility Policy

  • No Discounts: Professional course pricing is fixed. No promotional offers, group rates, or special deals apply.
  • No Refunds: All deposits and payments are 100% non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • No Rescheduling: Course dates cannot be changed once confirmed. We cannot accommodate personal schedule conflicts.
  • No Transfers: Your slot cannot be transferred to another person or another course date.
📋 Why These Strict Rules?
  • PADI Quotas: Each instructor can only certify a limited number of professionals per year.
  • Fixed Schedules: IDC courses follow PADI's global calendar and cannot be modified.
  • Lost Opportunities: When you cancel, we've already refused other candidates and cannot fill your spot.
  • Resource Allocation: Instructors, materials, and facilities are pre-committed months in advance.

💳 Payment Terms

🔴 FINAL WARNING

If you fail to pay the balance on time, your deposit is forfeited and your spot is released.
If you cancel for any reason (personal, medical, family emergency, visa issues, travel delays), you lose 100% of all payments.
No exceptions. No appeals. Book only when you are 100% committed.

📚 What IS Included (Non-Refundable)

  • PADI eLearning codes & digital materials (become your property immediately upon delivery)
  • Professional liability insurance during training
  • Instructor time and mentorship (scheduled months in advance)
  • Use of training facilities, pool, and equipment
  • Administrative processing and PADI registration fees
✅ Before You Book:
  • Confirm your available dates for the entire course duration
  • Ensure your passport, visa, and travel documents are valid and confirmed
  • Verify you meet all PADI prerequisites (dives logged, certifications, medical clearance)
  • Secure travel insurance (we recommend DAN with professional training coverage)
  • Confirm you have the full course fee available before paying the deposit

Professional diving courses are a serious commitment. We invest significant resources into your success. By booking, you confirm you understand and accept these non-negotiable terms.
