MEETING THE DAY BEFORE THE ACTIVITY
Meet at dive resort , complete paperwork, equipment fitting, safety briefing about the day ahead, and registration for the clearance.

Pool Session
Learn basic skills in our training pool: breathing underwater, mask clearing, regulator recovery. Build confidence in shallow, clear water.
Check-in & Briefing
Start your day with an amazing breakfast at 7:00 AM! We'll meet at Le Resto on the Third Floor of the dive resort.
Boat Departure
Board our dive boat to selected beginner-friendly sites. Enjoy scenic 60-90 minute cruise through Komodo National Park.
First Ocean Dive
Gentle entry, skills review at surface, then explore shallow reef (5-12m) for 45-60 minutes with instructor guidance.
Surface Interval
Relax on boat, snacks and water, debrief first dive, prepare for second dive.
Second Ocean Dive

Common questions about your first diving experience
Basic swimming ability helps but isn't mandatory. You need to be comfortable in water and able to float. We provide buoyancy devices and close supervision. The pool session is perfect for building water confidence before ocean dives.
Even at beginner sites, Komodo offers amazing encounters:
